Johnson recalls feeling a twinge of anxiety when Brendan O'Brien suggested he swap some screaming for a spot of soul crooning (singing).
Brendan instructed him that he was a soul singer and had to do what he needed to do.
Brian Johnson recalls feeling worried that the rest of the band would think that this kind of singing would not suit their style of rock and roll but they (the band) were quite favorable to the decision.
