Madonna Hard Candy Girls T-Shirt

Hard Candy is the eleventh studio album by American singer-songwriter Madonna and was first released on April 25, 2008 by Warner Bros. Records.

This release is the final studio album under her contract with Warner Bros., her record company for the past 25 years.

Madonna initially wanted the album to be called Candy Shop, after an album track, but Warner Bros. disallowed the name, citing it as too close to the song by 50 Cent.

She then wanted to call the album Give It 2 Me, after the second single, but Warner Bros. again disallowed the name, citing it was too close to the song by Timbaland, Give It To Me.

In the end, she called the album Hard Candy, as a "juxtaposition of toughness and sweetness".
