The Deprived were a Portland, Oregon hardcore punk band that played from 1988 to 1993.

Members consisted of, Mike Aragon, Tony Mengis, Todd Norin, Gary Shaw, and Kelly Halliburton. Other members included, Kevin Chuddhey, James, Quinten Case, Sean Chuddhey, Matt Jenkins(Bloodclots), Eric Lowell, and about a ton more.

Deprived was a highly charged political punk rock band.

Lyrics were about oppression , government, nuclear war, smashing the system, police brutality, the arms race , abortion and just about anything else you can think of...
